Welcome to Guymon Oklahoma!

Heritage Community Dunaway Manor is located in  Guymon OK. Guymon was incorporated in 1901 and is the county seat of Texas County in the panhandle of Oklahoma, United States. As of 2020 the city population was 12,965 and represents more than half of the population of the county. Cattle feedlots, corporate pork farms, and natural gas production dominate its economy, with wind energy production and transmission recently diversifying landowners' farms.

As the biggest small town in all of the Oklahoma Panhandle, we pack a big punch. Guymon is home to Arts, Festivals, Rodeos and more including nationally-recognized events like the  Guymon Pioneer Days , PRCA Hall of Fame Rodeo, the Five State Motorcycle Run and Motorcycle Rodeo, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) BlueDef Velocity Tour, Bacon BBQ Brews & Blues Festival and Guymon Fiesta Day. A Heritage of Experience & Excellence

Heritage Community is owned and operated by DR. W.F. & Mada Dunaway Manor Nursing Home of Guymon, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation. Dr. W.F. & Mada Dunaway Manor Nursing Home of Guymon, Inc. is also known as Heritage Community, The Manor, or The Manor Nursing Home of Guymon, Inc.  A volunteer board of directors composed of local community members governs the organization. The purpose of the organization is to serve the elderly and convalescent persons who have need of nursing care and/or retirement housing, without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or national origin. To fulfill this purpose the organization operates a skilled nursing facility and nursing home, an assisted living center, and a dementia care center (memory care center). These facilities are all under one campus called Heritage Community, located at 501 NE 15th Street and 1401 N. Lelia in Guymon, OK.
